Based in Leicester, she choreographs for Skytribe Fusion Bellydance and Chicas Locas Burlesque, proudly 40+ strong, with some dancers training with Doe for more than a decade. She has created choreographies for Bijoux Burlesque (taught by their instructors across England) and teaches at specialist festivals, theatre shows, and retreats, including Celebrating Dance Festival and Gothla UK. She owned Skytribe Dance Studio for six years, managing the venue and a team of five instructors until its closure in 2021. She now teaches in person and online via her Glamour Ghoul School, offering unique workshops plus video and performance opportunities for dancers everywhere, and has appeared in multiple online festivals, including as a featured international artist at Zara’s Zouk Online Bellydance Hafla (Cairo-based).
Her performance credits include fire hula hoop at the Miss Great Britain finals and a solo opening set for The Eels. She has danced for music videos; modelled in pin-up and fantasy catwalks (Americana International, Catriona Stewart Latex, National Space Centre); and been published in FEMME Rebelle, BOMBSHELL (cover), and US magazines Gothesque and Gothic Culture Magazine. She has toured cabaret and theatre stages across the UK, including The Cat’s Pyjamas (Grimsby), Night Train Revue (Rotherham), and Nozstock Festival’s Velveteen Valley late-night cabaret.
Doe produces The Butterfly Boudoir at Attenborough Arts Centre (Leicester) and co-organises Gothla UK festival with a team of gloriously curious Goths, producing its annual theatre show; she formerly ran the Grand Cabaret in the Big Top at Barefoot Festival, and curates pop-up shows for venues and events such as Mountsorrel Revival and Cirque Du Y at Leicester’s Y Theatre. She has also organised flash mobs for Tutti Rouge Lingerie’s #illegalcleavage campaign and Mecca Bingo’s Halloween event.
Her trademarks: musicality, fearless freedom of movement, and a knack for conjuring atmosphere on any stage. A versatile choreographer and generous teacher, she aims to instil confidence and spark inspiration in every student.
