Fusion Belly Dance

Skytribe Fusion Bellydance is Doe Demure's troupe which you can join through in person classes in Leicester or you can learn from anywhere through Doe's online studio projects.

Doe's fusion style is a take on MENAHT (Middle Eastern, North African, Hellenic, Turkish) belly dance with influences from popping, waving, contemporary and jazz dance, plus Gothic and alternative subcultures. Doe Demure is known for her dramatic & fluid belly dance style; from glamorous vintage fusion reminiscent of the golden era of belly dance, to otherworldly Gothic/ethereal fusion. Come and be inspired!

There are classes for all levels, from complete beginners, to students who wish to improve their fusion belly dance and perform at our regular showcases at Attenborough Arts Centre, Leicester. Many students go on to perform as soloists.

In class you will learn:

• Belly dance isolation techniques
• Combinations, arm patterns & routines
• Layering & conditioning drills
• Improved musicality
